Who's in Unai Emery's Aston Villa backroom staff?
Familiar face from Liverpool
Unai Emery has brought a number of familiar faces with him to Aston Villa, including former Liverpool coach Pako Ayestaran.
Ayestaran worked with Emery at Liverpool for seven years, and the pair enjoyed a successful spell together, winning the Champions League in 2019.

As well as Ayestaran, Emery has also brought with him:

- Pablo Villanueva (goalkeeping coach)
- Victor Manas (fitness coach)
- Xabier Clemente (opposition analyst)
- Ignacio de Jesus (data analyst)
These six staff members will form the core of Emery's backroom team at Villa, and they will be tasked with helping the club achieve success on the pitch.
