USA Basketball Submits 12-man Roster for 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup
Commitment from Josh Hart Completes Roster
Four NBA All-Stars Included
The United States Basketball Federation (USAB) has officially submitted its 12-man roster for the upcoming 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The roster, which was unveiled on September 12th, 2023, features four NBA All-Stars and several other top-tier players. Josh Hart's recent commitment completed the roster, which is now considered one of the favorites to win the tournament.
The roster includes: Anthony Edwards, Jaren Jackson Jr., Brandon Ingram, Jayson Tatum, Darius Garland, Tyrese Haliburton, Kevin Huerter, Josh Giddey, Josh Hart, Jalen Brunson, and Mark Williams. These players were selected from a pool of over 50 candidates who were invited to participate in training camp.
The USA Basketball Mens National Team will compete at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, which will be held in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines from August 25th to September 10th, 2023. The team will be coached by Gregg Popovich, who is also the head coach of the San Antonio Spurs.
